Lack of Motivation, fear and lingering illness.
What this taught me about myself
It taught me that I am a woman of faith and action. I will continue to take the steps toward my dreams even if they are painfully slow baby steps. It also taught me a lot about God, and how He will allow you to go through things so that you are able to grow into the next season of your life. There is always a reason.
Some accomplishments from 2014 that I’m happy about
Moving to London.
It’s been a dream of mine to live in London since I visited Christmas 2012. I put it on my vision board as soon as I got back. On the hard days it felt like it was mocking me at times… others it felt amazingly inspiring, like a whisper saying “soon… soon” I think it’s important that we allow for the hard days. They do pass. Sometimes you need to push through and keep working, sometimes you need to take the day off with season three of ‘Scandal’. As long as you return to your dreams. They are yours.
You own them.
And now… I live in London:)
If you are feeling down at this time of year, my tip is…
Writing out my goals and an action plan to achieve them always motivates me. Putting together a new vision board. Finding new fabulous podcasts (which I am addicted to!). My new fave is Chalene Johnson’s “The Chalene Show”. She is fantastic. The episodes I would recommend to get you motivated toward your goals are: Crazy Confidence, and Overcome Overwhelm.
Lewis Howes’s ‘School of Greatness’ and Jonathan Fields ‘Good Life Project’ are also awesome.
My intention for 2015
To stay in integrity and choose faith over fear. I know 2015 is going to be an amazing record breaking year, but it’s up to us to do our part. I know for sure that when we do our best, God does the rest.
In 2015, I am the Queen of integrity, discipline, love.
