Hi, my name is Demetria Jackson and I live in Toronto, Canada.
I am a Feminist Metaphysicist, Breakthrough Coach, and Kundalini Yoga Teacher for feminists, activists, and healers worldwide.
The hardest things I had to do in 2014
To let go and let Goddess. (In other words, live in the flow and allow things to naturally occur).
What I learnt from all this
I am constantly guided, protected and completely taken care. I also learned that I don’t have to control my life as much as just tune in and enjoy the flow.
Some accomplishments from 2014 that I’m proud of and happy about
This year I became a Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and a Reiki Practitioner. I quit my full-time job. Moved back to my hometown (Toronto) from another city about an hour and a half away from Toronto. Fell completely head-over-heels in love with myself and launched a project called Yoga for Abundant Bodies which is an all levels, abundant body loving, intentional, sacred, and judgement-free practice of individual and communal self-care, self-love, and self-acceptance for people of all ethnicities, gender expressions, and orientations under, above, and around the rainbow.
If you are feeling down at this time of year, my tip is
Set one intention that you want to keep coming back to month after month, day after day. It can be an intention of how you want to feel. An intention of how you want to move through life. An intention of how you want to perceive yourself (or others). In my experience, intentions that fall into one of those categories are the ones that open you up most to receiving the most miracles because you’re not fixated as much on the outcome and what the final product looks like.
My intention for 2015 is
To devote my life to my spiritual path, to show up for the opportunities my ancestors and the universe send my way, to witness the miracles all around me, to raise the consciousness of every single person I meet, and to continue healing myself so that I can be a conduit for the healing of others.
In 2015, I am the Queen of Flow.
