Hi, my name is Kim Fuller and I live in Sydney, Australia.

I run my own company called Freehand Marketing; a virtual marketing agency for food and beverage brands. I’m blessed to work with some awesomely talented people on some amazing projects for some great clients.

The hardest things I had to do in 2014

2014 was a year of learning, procrastinating and distractions. Too many ideas and bright shiny things catching my eye and taking me away from my core business. The hardest thing I had to overcome was myself; to get out of my own way and overcome my fear of failure and fear of success. I’m happy to finish the year with more clarity and energy for my business than ever before.

What I learnt from all this

I realised that I’m not the only person to have these feelings and that it’s extremely common among entrepreneurs and business owners to experience this. It’s actually more uncommon to not experience these things.

I also realised that my business isn’t really about me, it’s about the people I serve and helping them make a bigger impact in the lives of the people that they serve. It’s about paying it forward.

Some accomplishments from 2014 that I’m proud of and happy about

Finally coming to terms with and cutting through my own fears. I am also very proud of the work that we did with our clients in helping them reach more people and grow their businesses has been exciting to see and be a part of.

If you are feeling down at this time of year, my tip is

Slow down and spend some time thinking about what it is that you want to achieve and why you are feeling the way you are. Spend some time asking yourself what you need to change, improve, remove, to get back on track to the life you want.

Take responsibility for your part in whatever you’re dealing with but also just be kind and patient with yourself.

Take yourself off for a massage, catch up with friends for a coffee and chat or go for a long walk or run and your thoughts will get clearer and an answer usually comes.

My intention for 2015 is

I have set 3 major goals for 2015. Things I thought of throughout 2014 but never moved any closer to accomplishing. I intend to plan out and focus on each one until they are no longer just thoughts and actually exist. 2015 is going to be big and exciting in so many ways.
