A few weeks ago, I was approached to participate in the What I See Project. This project is a global movement to get women to give their unique and honest answer to the universal question, “What do you see when you look in the mirror?”.

This particular question is very dear to my heart and I have been speaking up about it for a while. Women, particularly twentysomething women need to develop a good relationship with their mirror image. In my opinion, our entire world depends on it. When a woman sees love as she looks in the mirror, the world will be less violent, less competitive, less cruel.

What I See Project aims to inspire women from all over the world by letting them talk about what they see in the mirror and what they want the world to see in them. I hope the videos will inspire compassion and understanding within the global women’s community.

Here is the project trailer below. I would love to hear what you see when you look in the mirror. I urge you to upload your own video on the project website and then share the link in the comments below. Also don’t forget to Tweet it to me @rituashrafi and hashtag it with #whatiseecampaign. Also, check out this lovely lady’s video who is also participating in the project: Leah from http://www.naturallyleah.com.
